We, School E-Solutions, understand the importance of privacy and are committed to protecting it at every possible step. This Privacy Policy applies to users of the School E-solutions web portal (www.schoolesolutions.in) and the CiCo parent app. It explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Agreement to this Policy

By creating an account, or by downloading, installing, and using the CiCo app, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Information We Collect

To deliver school-management services, we collect information that schools and parents provide, including: student details (name, class, roll/admission number, attendance, exam results, fees), parent/guardian contact details (name, mobile number, email, address), and, where the user chooses to provide them, identity documents (such as an Aadhaar number) and photographs.

Photos & Media

The CiCo app may request access to your device's photos so that you can:

  • upload a student's profile photo,
  • upload an identity document (e.g. Aadhaar) when your school requires it, and
  • submit a photo of completed homework as a homework response.

Photos you select are uploaded only for these purposes. We do not access your photo library for any other reason, and we do not collect images in the background.

How We Use Information

Information is used only to provide and improve the service — for example, to show parents their child's homework, attendance, results, fees, and school messages, and to let school staff manage these records. We may use information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, and to diagnose and fix errors so as to improve the reliability of the service.

Sharing of Information

Student and parent information is shared only with the school the student is enrolled in, and the staff that school authorises. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with unauthorised persons or organisations. SMS notifications are sent through DLT-registered telecom partners solely to deliver school communications you have opted into.

Security of Information

We follow reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep information safe. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Unauthorised access, user negligence, or hardware/software failure may compromise information despite our efforts.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain information for as long as the school's account is active. A parent or school may request correction or deletion of their data by contacting us at the address below; we will action such requests subject to the school's record-keeping obligations.

Updates to this Policy

This Policy may change from time to time. Any change becomes effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised Policy.
